1950 Singer 221 Featherweight Sewing Machine w Case, Manual and Accessories serial AJ590018. The machine is in as manufactured in 1950 according to the serial number. It's in great used condition for its age, with some regular signs of use and aging. The machine is tested and as you can see by the test napkin I sewed it it does work. It could probably far from a service.
It will need a new bulb. The cord on the pedal and power cord need to be replaced as it is very cracked all throughout. Electrical tape was added to cord only in one part. There is no key for the box and so I can't lock the latches. The he machine comes just as pictured with accessories pictured only.
