The serial number for this machine is JB103821, and made in St. This machine was made by Singer as a tribute to the Royal Air Force during WW11.
The Royal Air Force / RAF decals are bright and brilliant. There is some wear in a couple spots as seen with machines of the vintage nature, everything is as shown in photos. These decals are also referred to as Eagle or Lightning Bolt. We threaded the machine up and tested its sewing ability.It is smooth, fast and sews a great stitch! We sewed the stitches as seen in our photos! The bobbin winder works great. The tension and stitch length knob were easy to adjust and operate correctly. The straight stitches this machine produced are amazing!
The light and motor both work perfectly. This machine is in amazing antique condition, absolutely stunning! The black enamel is shiny and bold, with minor usage wear, as seen in photos. All nickel plated parts have been cleaned and polished to shine! Just look at that beautiful front plate!This machine comes with 4 bobbins, a screwdriver, some extra needles, its power cord and foot pedal and some cool vintage sewing supplies!
