Heavy Duty Singer Sewing Machine. Which dates her to 1901. A lovely machine, as seen in the photos. Amazing vibrant decals still in fantastic condition for being 120+ years old! She has been oiled, cleaned and tested.
She sews a wide variety of materials, including leather and denim. Brand new hard plastic carrying / storage case.This is such a PRETTY machine and so hard working! Straight stitch, with adjustments for pressure and tension. Adjustable stitch lengths (with round thumb-screw next to the Singer badge). Generous harp area (work area between needle and right side). Thread cutter behind the needle bar.
She also has the spoked handwheel / balance wheel, so if you ever want to add a hand crank so that you can use her even without electricity, she's compatible with those. You could also use her in a treadle table instead of with the motor that she has (easy to remove, with one bolt). Our Singer sewing machine consultant worked for Singer for YEARS.He verified that this is a heavy duty machine, good for sewing denim, leather, etc and also for lightweight dressmaking materials. We are including a printed copy of the manual for this machine.
