This is a stunning example of a fairly rare Singer Treadle sewing machine head. It is the beautiful model 115 with the gorgeous Wings decoration scheme. This machine has the important 115 bobbin case. This machine dates to 1917 by serial number G5579104, made in Elizabethport NJ, and is stunning to look at and runs as good as it looks.
Being a full rotary hook this amazing machine runs incredibly smooth and whisper quiet and sews a great stitch. The 115 is certainly one of the best machines ever made.We threaded it up and sewed the beautiful stitches you see in my photos, bobbin winder works perfectly and has a brand new tire, stitch length knob adjusts stitch length perfectly. Tensioner operating excellently, All functions operate beautifully. Wings decals are in beautiful condition for its age and are a really deep gold color with a couple of rub marks on Singer logos and black lacquer paint is also in beautiful shiny condition with some light pre use on the bed. All nickel plated metal parts, slide plate, ornate front cover and side cover, tensioner are also in very beautiful condition.
Comes with the important 115 bobbin case and bobbin, and a variety of attachments, including a ruffler, tucker, and extra presser feet, and some tools. This machine will be carefully packed to ensure a safe arrival.
