Vintage Singer Model 99 Portable Black Sewing Machine w Pedal, Hard Case

This old Singer sewing machine model 99 appears to be in nice vintage condition. The machine and wood case look to have been well cared for. The machine turns freely and runs with the electric foot pedal, although the electric motor seems weak and may need serviced. What is the difference between a Singer 99 and 99K? The "k" just denotes that it was made in Scotland, and otherwise it's the same as other Singer 99s. Which were made from 1911 to the 1960s. The Singer 99 was meant to be a smaller, more portable version of the classic Singer 66.
